Ukraine Extortion

The news today is dominated by the Ukraine extortion story. here’s my cartoon …

Yes, I know, Ukraine doesn’t look like this lady. She shouldn’t have blond hair. She shouldn’t be fat. OK. OK. I visited Kiev and I saw this in a gift shop …

And I found her Ukrainian folksy dress on the Web. We go with the chichés we have, not the clichés we want or wish to have, as Donald Rumsfeld would say.

Here are some of my recent favorites on the Whistleblower scandal. This one is by Dave Whamond

This one is from RJ Matson

This one is by Ed Wexler

Two disappointments: A lot of commotion over an indeterminate action. No one in the public knows what the whistleblower complaint is so how can the cartoonists determine what to draw? And, two, no Biden or Hillary cartoons. We know Biden held up public funds to Ukraine for a personal favor and Hillary, although it ostensibly did not involve the Ukraine, took $millions from Putin for the Uranium Deal. Maybe the cartoonists are big hypocrites like the rest of the left. It is OK if a Democrat does it.

Stan Patscheck. Just curious why is it always but Obama, but Hillary and now but Biden when cartoons about Trump are released? I have never seen a cartoons by Cagel cartoonists that did not depict almost to a “T” the actions of Trump and others as well, but sadly many cannot accept that Trump’s time in office is very questionable. BTW, the actions of the Biden’s were investigated and no irregularities were found. Biden was working with several agencies including Europe to remove the corrupt Prosecutor, but i am betting you already know that.
